Bibby Offshore Singapore (BOS) is pleased to announce the successful completion of extensive Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) work on Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) offshore assets.

The project involved the inspection of BSP’s East and West assets and covered a total of 48 pipelines, with a combined length of 272km, and 93 platform risers.

The work was performed by the Bibby Spring operated by BOS. The DP2 ROV Support Vessel is fully configured for IRM operations and boasts dual ROV capability, including the Atom, the latest compact workclass ROV from SMD. The vessel is also equipped with comprehensive data acquisition and processing packages.

Darren Morgan, Managing Director of Bibby Offshore Singapore said: “Successfully completing this contract demonstrates our ability to deliver complex and challenging subsea projects. This has been an extremely successful year for the business so far and we have invested significantly in our fleet to deliver high quality products and services to our clients.”

Bibby Offshore has grown from 10 employees in 2003 to now employing more than 1,300 people onshore and offshore worldwide, with offices in Aberdeen, Liverpool, Singapore, Houston and Trinidad. The company has an international fleet of six subsea support vessels and 13 Remote Operating Vehicles (ROV) and will continue to add to their fleet to meet demand.
