The teams for Siri, Maps, Apple Music and others are reportedly all coming under one roof to help reduce bugs and speed innovation.

Apple may be pushing to get its cloud services teams under one roof to help it compete with Google and Amazon.

The tech giant wants to bring the teams for Siri, Maps, iCloud, Apple Pay, Apple News, iTunes and Apple Music to its Infinite Loop headquarters in Cupertino, California, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.

The teams are currently working separately in different offices, and developing for Apple remotely. Working under separate locations has contributed to software bugs and slow releases, according the report.

Apple didn't respond to requests for comment.

The move is likely motivated by a push to compete with Google and Amazon on cloud-based services. As Apple moves its cloud services teams together physically, the company also hopes to push them together digitally, said Bloomberg.

A rumored project, code-named Pi, is expected to help Apple with its cloud services, providing faster loading times and more control by putting them on a single platform. Siri, iTunes and Apple News have already been moved to Pie, sources told Bloomberg.
