Barton & Guestier, part of the Castel Group, has launched its range of AOC wines in new packaging, worldwide. As part of the new packaging, all the wines carry the B&G Barton & Guestier gold caps.

The launch covers 19 appellations coming from six of the main French winegrowing regions. The labels, which are educative, mention the appellation name, the region, the varietals and also taste descriptors for the classic appellations.

The appellations display a regional or village symbol. The classic appellations are delivered in right-weight Bordeaux and Burgundy shape bottles, while the prestigious appellations are offered in specific or regional bottles.

According to the French company, the packaging, which replaces the Barton & Guestier Gold Labels, comprises a new label shape, the Barton & Guestier branding both on the label and the capsule and the red B&G Passeport stamp.

The backlabels provide information and QR codes, which link to the product sheet and the website of the company.

Barton & Guestier, which sells ten million bottles in 130 countries, has developed a brand strategy based on AOC and Varietal wines from the main French wine growing regions.
