Netherlands-based packaging company Clondalkin Group has promoted David Lennon as new CEO for its pharmaceutical and healthcare division's global operations.
Lennon will take the responsibility of firm's global business development plans and work with the European and North American management teams.
Lennon joined Clondalkin in 2009 as CEO of the European Pharma and Healthcare division and expaned firm's pharmaceutical packaging facilities from three to eight sites through organic development and strategic acquisition.
Clondalkin Group chief executive Norbert McDermott said the firm appointed David in 2009 as a senior executive, whose expertise in packaging business was clear.
"In his four years with Clondalkin Group he has continued to prove himself to be an invaluable leader in consolidating our position as a leading producer of secondary pharmaceutical packaging where we now operate from 18 sites in North America and Europe," McDermott added.
